Lemon Basil Orzo

  • 2 cups Orzo (cooked according to package directions)
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1 lemon (zest only)
  • 1/4 cup fresh basil, chopped
  • 1/4 cup parmesan cheese


  1. Cook orzo according to package directions.

  2. Zest the lemon.

  3. Chop the basil.

  4. Drain orzo and stir in butter.

  5. Add lemon zest and basil.

  6. Top with parmesan and salt and pepper to taste.
